Prayer for our Nation + the World

Our Bible is full of stories of how God dealt with nations of the world. God ultimately has way with the nations. Ninevah avoided a national crisis because they heard the prophetic voice of Jonah Jerusalem was overthrown because its King and citizens would not heed the cries and warnings of Isaiah and Jeremiah.

Babylon became the place of Exile for Israel. In Babylon she repented for her idolatry and longed for the days of righteousness and peace through obedience. Beginning this Wednesday, September 11th from now until November 6th Pastor Ryan is asking you to join him in fasting and prayer for the nation and world.

Join Women of the Rock in our mission to pick apples for pie making to provide pies to our community, a way of letting people know we are thinking of them, and they are in our prayers!

Apple Picking

Oct. 5th at 11am

(You are welcome to pick apples for yourself of course!)

We will meet as a group to pick our apples then have free time to enjoy the corn maze and enjoy shopping and food options in the Apple Barrel Market.

Pie Baking

We will be providing 8 full size pies for Adult and Teen Challenge (Oct. 12) and 30 mini pies for Bread2Bread (Oct. 19) also.

The plan will be to buddy up and open your home for some fellowship and pie making or feel free to go solo.

If you are not able to join in apple picking, feel free to make a pie. Apples will be provided for you!

Nights of Prayer (Zoom)

Our Nights of Prayer are weekly! These are nights of encouragement on Wednesdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 6:30pm for those who continue to suffer, a night of prayer for healing, a night to strengthen our faith! Everyone is invited to join us - this is a time for us to stand together and encourage one another in prayer!

Yarn Drive

We are collecting donations of yarn for our Pray & Purl group. Medium weight 100% acrylic yard. Red Heart brand or similar. Any colors; if you choose a variegated color, please also provide a matching solid color.

Pray & Purl knits and crochets items that are donated to the homeless, local shelters and health care facilities.
