Ukraine

Our church helped plant a church in Ukraine over 20 years ago, and we have maintained a close relationship with the people of Soshnikov, Ukraine. Pastor Nikolai was the founding pastor of that church, and had visited us here in Connecticut multiple times over the years. Sadly, Pastor Nikolai died in October 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to support the church in Ukraine, and are assisting in the transition of leadership.

Teams from LRC have also gone to Ukraine, for children's ministry, teen summer camp, and to help build the church building. Below are photos of the most recent building projects in Soshnikov.

Please consider helping the church as they face uncertain times.

We're all aware of the crisis in Ukraine that is unfolding right now. We have 5 churches/pastors that we support financially and spiritually.

In the unfortunate event that Ukraine is invaded by Russian troops, we want our pastors and churches to have the financial ability to respond to the crisis. We want to act now, in case the normal means of getting finances to them is cut off. Please consider giving - any amount - to provide relief, support, and transfer if necessary.

And of course, keep them in your prayers!

“I wanted to let you know some good news about our life lately. First news - we finished the final phase of the fence - we finally got the covers and got it installed! Praise the Lord! I'm sending you some photos of it. We only need rain to clean it up :) It looks great - thank the Lord and thank you for your help in this project. We wouldn't be able to accomplish it without your help. May the Lord bless you and the whole church abundantly! When you approach the fence it looks like you approach some castle - It really looks great and I'm so happy we finally finished that. It's like the burden was taken off my shoulders finally.”
