Innercity Outreach:

Bridgeport, CT

We partner with Kingdom Builders Impact Ministries in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on their annual community outreach.

Every August, KBIM shuts down a city block to distribute backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing, and furniture to those in need in their community.  We help collect items and send a team of volunteers down for the day to help out.

The event has the atmosphere of a block party, with free hamburgers and hotdogs, face painting, and a free drawing for used bicycles.

Outreach 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Outreach will look very different this year. KBIM will be having an online giveaway for the furniture they've already collected; they are not taking any further furniture donations.

There are still ways you can participate!

KBIM is raising funds to purchase a storage unit (right now they need to rent storage). You can make a donation HERE.

They are also collecting school and hygiene supplies: items can be purchased on Amazon and delivered directly - there is NO drop off at the church this year.
