Our History

Living Rock Church is a non-denominational Christian Church located in Killingworth, Connecticut.

Our Story Starts

Living Rock Church was founded in 1984, by Lead Pastor, Rev. Ryan Young. It was in Pastor Ryan’s first meeting with the group of believers that would become the church congregation, that God prophetically declared he would become the Pastor of this newly established church. After a year of planning the church was established as Rock Church.

Our Story Continues

8 years later Rock Church bought land in Killingworth and began constructing the building we have today. Then in 1998 Rock Church was given a new name to become Living Rock Church. Since the beginning, Living Rock Church has had a heart for local ministries and mission programs. Over the years we have sent many teams to locations such as Bolivia, Ukraine and around our community, like Shoreline Soup Kitchens and inner city work in Bridgeport.

We’re celebrating 32 years of our beautiful building and the amazing testament it is of God’s faithfulness! We are beyond thankful and blessed by the past years and we are eager to see what God does over the coming ones!
