When you first walk up to the front doors of Living Rock Church, you'll notice we're a friendly church. One of our greeters will welcome you and give you a Visitor packet that contains information about us. As you enter the foyer, you'll see our photo wall with oversize pictures of our various ministries and activities. An usher will help you find a seat in the Sanctuary, and if you have children under the age of 3, can direct you to the nursery where our experienced volunteers will keep your baby/toddler safe and happy during service (you're always welcome to keep the kids with you, if you prefer.) The worship team will begin playing contemporary music - we project the lyrics on the screen so everyone can join in singing; you'll see people standing, sitting, kneeling, raising their hands and praising God during our worship time.
After worship, we'll make a few announcements, and have time for people to bring an offering. [It's at this point in the 10:30 am service that kids in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade are dismissed to their children's church class.] Pastor Ryan preaches from the Bible, and often uses powerpoint and props to illustrate his message. At the conclusion of service, our Elders are available to pray with you if desire prayer. If you have children in the nursery or children's church, you can pick them up from the appropriate room. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
